December 17, 2012 is the International Day to End Violence against Sex Workers.
People working in the sex trade tolerate oppressive working conditions that subject them to a disproportionate amount of harassment and violence. On December 17th, we will be marching in solidarity with them to call for an end to the violence they are experiencing daily.
Join us, and other allies in delivering the message to politicians that violence against people who work in the sex trade must stop!
We will be marching from the Legislature Building up Government Street, by candlelight at 4pm.
